ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
In this video we show you step by step how to assemble your RESLIDES sandals or how to thread a new strap if necessary.
>> Note on how the buckles work:
1. The buckles are designed so that one end of the strap is attached to the short flap; the long flap is intended for securing the length adjustment.
2. The short lower flap is best opened through the big opening at the bottom of the housing - simply press it open from below after the upper long flap has been opened.
3. Slide the end of the strap max. 3 cm under the short flap.
> Otherwise, two layers of the strap will lie under the long flap and the buckle will no longer be able to close (or could break if too much force is applied)!

INDIVIDUAL ADAPTATION
To ensure the sandals fit perfectly, the buckles should be positioned close to the outer edge of the sole. The straps can be shortened if necessary (with scissors).
>> Step by step:
To tighten the sandals, move the upper buckle away from the edge toward the instep. However, if the buckle ends up too far above the instep when tightening, the strap must be shortened individually, as it could otherwise cause uncomfortable pressure when worn.
1. Move the upper buckle back to the outer edge
2. Take off sandals and get scissors and a lighter ready
3. Open both flaps of the front buckle (push the short lower flap through the opening at the bottom of the housing) and pull the end of the strap out of the buckle.
4. Cut the end of the strap accordingly (1-4 cm depending on the foot geometry) and briefly melt the cut edge with a lighter (note: move it back and forth carefully and only hold the open flame to the end of the strap for a maximum of two seconds).
5. Reattach the end of the strap to the buckle using the short flap (note: thread in max. 3 cm, otherwise the long flap will no longer close!).
6. Move the front buckle to the outer edge of the sole and close it
7. Put the sandal back on, check the fit again and, if necessary, push the back buckle up a little to tighten it
8. If it is still too loose, shorten the strap again with scissors.
